Our Instructors
Tania Neeson is the Director and founder of Perfect Pilates. All our other instructors are independent contractors working on their own behalf. They are all qualified Pilates teachers who have hands on experience of teaching in a studio and undertake continuing education in all aspects of Pilates.

Tania is an experienced, highly qualified Pilates instructor: she has the benefit of training and working with leading, international Pilates studios in London and Oxford. She has covered all aspects of Pilates including:
- Beginners, intermediate and advanced mat work
- Pilates studio equipment including: the Wunda chair, Reformer and Cadillac
- Pilates using the Swiss ball, dynaband and foam roller
- Leg weights and arm weights
- Rehabilitation and injury prevention
- Ante and post natal Pilates
- Warm up and stretching
- Medic first aid
In addition to her work in the studios, Tania has been teaching matwork Pilates in the Thames Valley since July 2002.
Tania has been an avid fan of Pilates since 1996. She was introduced to Pilates by a physiotherapist after having suffered a car accident. The results were amazing and after making a full recovery, she was so impressed that she decided to train.
Tania is committed to making Pilates accessible to all and above all, enjoyable. Tania encourages her clients to reach their full potential at their own pace. Tania tailors her teaching to the individual so she can cater for all ages and abilities. Her approach is friendly, accessible and down to earth.
Tania has studied other movement disciplines including the Alexander Technique and Franklin method which are complementary to her teaching of Pilates.
Alongside Pilates, Tania also enjoys swimming, walking and learning golf.
Tania is also a fully qualified reflexologist having trained with the Oxford School of Massage and Natural Therapies. This gave her an excellent grounding not only in reflexology, but also nutrition and holistic health.
Tania’s qualifications include:
- St John’s Ambulance first aid
- Oxford Cambridge and RSA Examinations level 2 certificate in teaching exercise and fitness:
- Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, physiology and teaching method, promote healthy living, demonstrate knowledge of the exercise and fitness work environment, plan and teach a Pilates matwork session
- Pilates International instructor in the Pilates method of Physical and mental conditioning
- The course offered training by leading international Pilates instructors
and involved 100 hours supervised teaching time in the studio
- National Open College Network - the foundation training certificate for teachers of Pilates:
- General anatomy, bones and joints, muscles and nervous system, Pilates mat exercises, common ailments and medical conditions, the Universal Reformer, Reformer exercises, initial teaching skills for Pilates exercises, planning and delivering a Pilates session, the Trapeze Table, Trapeze Table exercises, Health and Safety, mat skills development, the Reformer and Trapeze Table exercises, pregnancy
